Overview
Use the Client Score module to evaluate a client’s overall match to the firm’s ideal client model. This tool helps a firm identify the types of clients it should pursue and retain.
Each score rates 20 factors on a scale of 0-5 for a possible total of 100 points. If a particular factor is not relevant in your firm’s client scoring model, select “5” for that factor to maintain the 0-100 scale.

Follow the instructions below to perform tasks such as creating, editing, importing, and exporting Client Score records.

Display a list of client scores |
Click FIrm > Client Score > View Client Scores. |
Display the details for a client score |
Click the contact name in the Client Scores List View. |
Edit client score information |

Suppress one or more Client Score records |
You can also suppress a single Client Score record by clicking Suppress on the Client Scores Detail View. |
Update information related to multiple client scores |
For more information, see Editing and suppressing multiple records. |
Duplicate client score information |
Click Duplicate in the Client Scores Detail View. Duplication is a convenient way of creating a similar client score. You can change and save the information in the duplicate record to create a new record. |
Find and merge duplicate records |
Follow the instructions in Merging duplicate records. |

Field Descriptions
Fields that have an asterisk (*) are required; you must enter data in the field to save the Client Score record.
Client |
Click the Client associated with this score on the Clients Popup List View (displays upon clicking the Selection arrow) or the list of Clients matching the character(s) you enter. |
Assigned To |
By default, the record is assigned to the creator of the Clients Score record. To change the name of the employee who is responsible for this Client Score record, click the user on the Users Popup List View (displays upon clicking the Selection arrow) or the list of users matching the character(s) you enter. |
Score Date |
On the Date Selector click the date this score was calculated. |
Score* |
Enter the total client score. This is a mandatory field. |
Primary Client Profile |
Rate regarding the client’s knowledge and level of communication. |
Co-Client Profile |
Rate the co-client’s knowledge and level of communication. |
Portfolio Value |
Rate the client’s portfolio value. |
Ideal Client Match |
Rate this client’s overall match to the firm’s ideal client. |
Net Worth |
Rate the client’s net worth. |
Future Net Worth Potential |
Rate the client’s future net worth growth potential. |
Percent of AUM |
Rate the client’s percentage of assets under management. |
Future AUM Potential |
Rate the client’s likelihood of increasing their percentage of assets under management. |
Profitability |
Rate the overall profitability of this client relationship. |
Future Profitability Potential |
Rate the future profitability of this client. |
Referral History |
Rate the client’s history of referrals. |
Referral Potential |
Rate the client’s likelihood of increased referrals. |
Satisfaction Level |
Rate the firm’s satisfaction level when servicing this client. |
Hassle Factor |
Rate the overall difficulty in servicing this client. |
Length of Time with Firm |
Rate the length of time this client has been with the firm. |
Time Spent Servicing Client |
Rate the overall amount of time it takes to service this client’s needs. |
Client Age |
Rate the age of the client with respect to the firm’s ideal client model. |
Source of Client |
Rate the marketing source of this client. |
Influence Potential |
Rate the client’s influence potential in the firm’s target market. |
Outside Investments |
Rate the client’s holdings of outside investments. |

Teams* |
By default, your private team is assigned as the primary team. To change the primary team assignment, click the team on the Teams Popup List View (displays upon clicking the Selection arrow) or the list of teams matching the character(s) you enter. To assign additional teams to the Client Score click add (+) and click the team as described above. For more information on assigning teams, see Assigning Users and Teams to Records. |
