Overview

Users have the option of adding additional invitees, e.g., Contacts, Leads, or Users, to Calls and Meetings via the Add Invitees or Create an Invitee option in the Calls or Meetings edit or quick create views. Please note that the user creating the call or meeting as well as the contact or lead selected in the Related To field will automatically be added as invitees to the call or meeting.  Please see Calls or Meetings for more information on these modules.

Follow the instructions below to perform tasks such as creating, adding, and removing Invitees.

Add Via Add Invitees:

  1. Select the Call or Meeting you wish to modify. Click Edit to open the edit layout of the activity.
  2. Navigate to the Invitees panel and perform a search to find the attendee you wish to add.

The search results will appear below the Add Invitees panel.

  1. Click Add to the far right of the record's name of the attendee you wish to add.  Please note that the icons to the left of record's name indicate if it is a Contact (Rolodex Card icon), Lead (Magnifying Glass icon), or User (People icon) record.

  1. The added invitee(s) will appear in the Scheduling panel in the Calls and Meetings edit view as well as the Invitees subpanel in the detail view.

Add Via Create an Invitee:

Select the Call or Meeting you wish to modify. Click Edit to open the edit layout of the activity.

Navigate to the Create and Invitee section and click either the As Contact or As Lead button.

Enter in the relevant information, e.g., First Name, Last Name, etc., for the Contact or Lead then click Create & Add.

Note:  The created contact or lead record will be added and appear in the corresponding module (Contact or Lead) as well.

The Contact or Lead will appear as an invitee in the scheduling panel in the Calls or Meetings edit view as well as the Invitees subpanel in the detail view. 

Remove an Invitee:

Select the record of the Call or Meeting you wish to remove an attendee from.

Remove the attendee(s) in one of the following ways:

  • Click Remove to the far right of the name of the attendee on the Scheduling panel.

Or

  • Click Unlink from the Invitees panel.
