Contact photo jpg too large to display or not in supported format.

PROBLEM:

When opening Contact or Client profile that has a linked photo, an error may occur.

CAUSE:

Conflict between 2003 MSAccess and Office 2013/2016 image files. 

SOLUTION:

Install the Office Converter Pack. Download/Save and Run this file: http://www.protracker.com/Download/Tools/oconvpck.exe 

 

If the above doesn't work, update the MSAccess version to 2016.

1. Download/Save/Run the 2016 runtime from here:

 http://www.protracker.com/Download/Tools/AccessRuntime2016.exe

2. Go to the ProTracker Advantage desktop shortcut. Right-click > Properties > Shortcut tab. In the Target field, replace all the text with one of the strings (including quotes) listed below:

NOTE: Your office 16 installation folder may vary. Please adjust the MSAccess path as needed.

32 bit workstation

" C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 16\Root\Office16\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\Program Files\ProTracker Advantage\Advantage.mde"

64 bit workstation

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office 16\Root\office16\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\Program Files (x86)\ProTracker Advantage\Advantage.mde"

 

3. Open or restart ProTracker. The top menu will display as red. This will be fixed in a future update. If this does not fix the client photos, please contact support.
