Can't Export Report to Excel using Send to Excel button

Problem;

When trying to export a list to Excel or from the print preview, send to Excel does not produce an Excel file.

Solution;

Rather than export as an Excel file, export as a text file. This will give you a csv file which can be opened and modified in Excel.
