Using MS Access 2013, program won't load or looks different

If you are using Microsoft Access 2013 to run ProTracker Advantage, the menu may look different. The ProTracker Advantage menu is available under the ADD-INS tab.



To load the program correctly, do one of the following: 


Click on the ADD-IN tab each time ProTracker Advantage loads and the program will run normally. 




Use the 2010 MSAccess runtime file to run the program using the following steps:


1. Download/Save/Run the 2010 runtime from here:

2. Go to the ProTracker Advantage desktop shortcut. Right-click > Properties > Shortcut tab. In the Target field, replace all the text with one of the strings (including quotes) listed below:

32 bit workstation

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\Program Files\ProTracker Advantage\Advantage.mde"

64 bit workstation

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\Program Files (x86)\ProTracker Advantage\Advantage.mde"


3. Open or restart ProTracker and the menu should now load normally. You may get a "can't find menu" error message the first time you open ProTracker Advantage. if so, just close and restart and it should load just fine.
