Missing Data, Hieroglyphics or other Strange Behavior
Problem
If you experience missing clients, empty reminders, jumbled text and an appointment for Lunch with Fred & Ethel, you may be missing a dao360.dll file.
This may be caused by installing or uninstalling any software that overwrites, removes, or de-registers libraries.
Symptoms
The home screen will look like this:
Solution
Microsoft Office 2010
If you are running MS Office 2010 the first step is to run a repair on MS Office from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Locate the Microsoft Office 2010, right-click, Change, Repair.
DAO360
1. Open File Explorer.
2. Go to c:\program files (x86)\common files\microsoft shared\
3. Copy the \DAO folder and its contents (dao360.dll)
4. Go to c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\ and paste the DAO folder if it doesn't already exist.
5. If the folder was not under
c:\program files (x86)\common files\microsoft shared\,
go to:
c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\
and copy the folder and dao360.dll file to c:\program files (x86)\common files\microsoft shared\,
Note: You should end up with the dao360.dll file in 2 locations.
6. Open ProTracker to see if the problem is resolved. If not, do a repair on MSAccess.
Repair MS Access or MSAccess runtime.
1. Control Panel > Programs and Features. Locate the Microsoft Access (or runtime), right-click, Change, Repair.
2. Reboot if prompted.
3. Open ProTracker Advantage to see if problem is resolved. If not, contact support.
