Backing Up Your Data

ProTracker Software, Inc., recommends that you protect yourself and your clients by maintaining a backup routine for all of your firm’s information.  Data backup solutions are more affordable than ever before.  A little time now will save you and your clients from suffering the pain of trying to rebuild your business.

Daily: Every business day your database and client documents should be backed up, preferably offsite.

Weekly: Once a week a copy of your data should be moved offsite.  These backups can be rotated monthly.  (Week1, Week2, Week3, Week4)

Monthly: Once a month a copy of your data should be permanently stored offsite for archival purposes.
