Seasonal Addresses

Do you have "snowbirds" in your client list?  Would you like a Client to have one address in the winter and a different address in the summer?  Here is how:

 

Step 1:

  • Double-click the Client's winter address on the Client Profile screen to open the Edit an Address dialog.
  • Check the Primary and Mailing check boxes.
  • Enter the date range when address will be active in the Address Valid fields. Example:  10/01 to 04/30. 
  • Click Save and Close.

Step 2:

  • Double-click the Client's summer address on the Client Profile screen to open the Edit an Address dialog.
  • Enter the date range when address will be active in the Address Valid fields.  Example: 05/01 to 09/30.
  • Click Save and Close. 

Result: 

  • On 5/1 each year, the summer address will be flagged Primary and Mailing.  The winter address will have no flags.
  • On 10/1 each year, the winter address will be flagged Primary and Mailing.  The summer address will have no flags.

Note: These changes will not take effect until Advantage is closed and reopened.
